The Frontier Fiesta Association is a student-led, student-run, annual three-day event located at the University of Houston. Founded in 1939, Frontier Fiesta is one of the most beloved events on campus that thousands of UH students look forward to and celebrated by UH Alumni. Though 1959 was another year brought to a stop, eventually, talks of revival began in 1991. The following year, 1992, Frontier Fiesta was brought to life again on campus for students and alumni alike. Complete with a petting zoo and wagon rides, Frontier Fiesta brought those of all ages across the Houston area to be enjoyed. Though this beloved festival as moved locations throughout campus, it is the love and passion that students, faculty, and alumni bring together every year to ensure that each year is better than the last.
