For its 3rd straight year, EHS is proud to continue Lab Safety Awareness Week in collaboration with Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA). The event will be held from February 10, 2025 to February 14, 2025. Lab Safety Awareness Week is an opportunity to recognize the success of laboratory health and safety programs; and invites the research community to participate in providing feedback and ideas in a fun and engaging environment.
EHS will be hosting meet and greets across campus to answer questions and provide pertinent safety information to the university and research community. Event posters promoting select safety topics will be located throughout the campus science buildings, so please take the time and have a quick look.
The EHS team will be stationed in the lobby of the following buildings this year, so don’t be shy and stop by for a chat and a chance to pick up some cool freebies. It’s also a great opportunity to ask us any questions on safety-related issues you may have at one time thought about in the lab.
