The University of Houston recently hosted the "DSA Welcome Back Event" at the Student Center ballroom, marking the start of a new academic year with a vibrant celebration. This event provided a valuable opportunity for Vice President Dr. Paul Kittle to engage with staff from across the Division of Student Affairs (DSA) to reflect on the past year and look forward to the year ahead.
Dr. Kittle, who served as the event's host, welcomed the DSA staff and highlighted
the exceptional contributions of our diverse departments. The event celebrated and
showcased the impactful work being done across campus from the 2023-2024 school year
and provided an opportunity to directly thank staff for their commitment to the Cougar
Experience and student success.
Key moments of the event included time for the staff to reconnect and socialize along
with enjoying a wonderful meal together. This time of fellowship emphasized the strong
sense of community and collaboration within the division and our commitment to collaborations
across the university.
The event lifted the achievements of the past year and underscored the university’s
commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all. The gathering
was a testament to the division’s dedication to student success and community engagement.
