Get Involved utilizes “@uh.edu” email aliases since these are University-given and can be tied to any preferred email account. All users must use their “@uh.edu” email alias unless they have changed their account settings. To find a user’s “@uh.edu” you can search in the student directory in AccessUH. Type the user’s last name and first name (last name, first name), and the alias should populate.

Reminder!! Your @uh.edu email alias is NOT your @cougarnet.uh.edu email. Your @uh.edu email alias is likely DIFFERENT from your @cougarnet.uh.edu email. Please check before you submit your application; your application will be denied because of this

There is no set time for the applications to be reviewed. The Center for Student Involvement staff review applications as soon as possible in the order they are received. During peak times, it may take a little longer than usual for your application to be reviewed.

Go to your organization’s page, click “Manage Organization” in the top right, then and select “Roster” on the next page. Next to the member’s name you’d like to edit, click the “pencil” and select the correct position.

Organizations not registered with the Center for Student Involvement are NOT eligible to host events on campus for free. Students will need to reserve and pay for the space at full cost if they want to continue with the program as an off-campus client.

Carrel Space/Locker applications are within the Organization Registration application. You can apply for a space in April when Organization Registration begins.
