About Cristian Alarcón
Cristian Alarcón is a Chilean author and journalist whose work has appeared in Rolling Stone and other publications. He teaches at the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for New Latin American Journalism and is Director of Revista Anfibia. One of his books, Dance for Me When I Die will be published next April (Duke Press, 2019).

Pablo Brescia was born in Buenos Aires and has lived in the United States since 1986. He is professor of Spanish and Teaches Latin American literature, film, and culture at the University of South Florida. He is the author of Borges. Cinco especulaciones (2015) and La derrota de lo real (2017), among others.
