The German program offers German language classes at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. In these classes, students develop communicative competence and proficiency in German while also learning about German culture and history. In addition to the courses in the language sequence, we also offer advanced courses on topics in German literature and cultural history.

German also offers courses on German cultural history and German cinema that are taught in English and satisfy core curriculum requirements (LPC and Creative Arts).
