UH Dining Services hosted its annual GRADitude Lunch at Moody Towers, celebrating graduating students and recognizing their years of engagement with campus dining.
The event delivered a high-energy, welcoming atmosphere, featuring a live DJ, tabling from University partners, and a diverse menu of comfort foods. Favorites such as tacos, hamburger sliders, butter chicken, beef birria, chicken noodle soup, and tot’chos — tater tots topped with chili and cheese — created a nostalgic and inclusive dining experience for attendees.

Beyond the culinary experience, GRADitude Lunch provided a meaningful opportunity for reflection and connection. Graduates contributed messages to a “Grateful for the Memories” board, and complimentary red carnations were distributed as a symbol of appreciation and celebration.
The event also reinforced UH Dining’s commitment to continuous improvement and student-centered programming. Feedback from the Spring 2026 graduating class included a recommendation to introduce designated seating areas for graduates to gather and celebrate together at future GRADitude Lunch events.

Events like GRADitude Lunch reflect UH Dining’s role in supporting the student experiences and fostering a sense of belonging through meaningful campus traditions.
