Post-Enrollment Requisite Checking (PERC)

The PERC process is where the course administrators (faculty/staff) are able to

  • understand how a student was able to register for the course
    • which requisite was satisfied and what was used satisfied the requisite
    • if any requisites had an override
    • who registered the student in the course
  • notify ineligble students of possible drop action, providing steps to maintain course eligibity
  • drop ineligible students from course
  • maintain notes for historical record for any drop actions by the PERC process
    • who authorized the drop
    • communication with student

The result of running the PERC process in PeopleSoft is accessed through the Enrollment Requirement Roster (ERR).

Running the PERC process and updating the PERC results:

  • The ERR information for every course section that has an active requisite check is scheduled to update every Monday morning, before 8 a.m.
  • If you have access to perform drops in the PERC module, you can run an update to the PERC results 'on demand' for a section or individual student(s) from within the ERR.

Please review the UH Requisite Checking and Post-Enrollment Requirement Checking process document for more detailed explanation about functionality within the PERC module, how to find and understand information on student enrollment in a section, and how to perform notification, drop action, and recording of notes within the PERC module.
