The Department of Economics offers a program leading to the Ph.D. degree in economics designed to provide students rigorous training in economic theory and quantitative skills as well as an intensive exposure to several specialized areas of economics. In addition to our Ph.D. program we are now offering a new M.A. in Applied Economics. This one-year program will begin each fall semester and conclude with an internship or thesis every August! Read more about the Master Program.
