Step 2: Review Transfer Admission Requirements and Deadlines

Step 3: What transfers?  Review our Transfer Equivalency Guides if transferring from a Texas public institution.  Use the Transfer Credit Estimator if transferring from a private, out-of-state, or international institution, or if you are transferring from a Texas public institution and have courses not listed on the transfer equivalency guides..  If you have test credits (AP, CLEP, IB, and others), you can check the credits awarded with a minimum score here: Credit by Examination.

Step 4: Review Calculate your Transfer GPA

Step 5: Meet with a UH Transfer Advisor to discuss the degree requirements for your intended major.

Step 6: Apply for Admission via the ApplyTexas common application

Step 7: Send Official Transcripts to UH from all colleges and institutions previously attended.

Step 8: Sign up for a Transfer Orientation as soon as you are admitted.
