Joining UHin4

Registration for the Class of 2029 (freshmen admitted in summer or fall of 2025) to joing UHin4 is closed. The last day to join was September 2, 2025. There is no furture opportunity join after the published deadline. 

Registration for the Class of 2030 (freshmen admitted in summer or fall of 2026) will open in late spring, 2026. All eligible students will be notified via email when registration opens. 

Who Can Join UHin4?

Incoming Freshmen

If you're enrolling at the University of Houston for the first time in Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 and are in an eligible major, you're invited to join UHin4 before September 2, 2025. A list of all eligible majors can be found here. 

Transfer Students

Transfer students with less than 30 transfer credits (freshmen by academic level) in an eligible major enrolling at the University of Houston for the first time in Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 may also join. 

Please note: Transfer students with over 30 transfer credit hours are not eligible for UHin4, but they may be eligible for the Fixed Rate Plan.

If you are a new student admitted for Summer 2025 or Fall 2025, and meet initial eligibility requirements, then follow the instructions below to access and apply for a plan. 

How to Join UHin4

  • Registration is now open for eligible students starting in Summer or Fall 2025.
  • Deadline to join: September 2, 2025
  • No late enrollments will be accepted after this date.

To join UHin4, you must first agree to the Freshman Four-Year Graduation Plan. 

  1. Log in to AccessUH. Go to access.uh.edu and sign in using your CougarNet credentials. 
  2. Click the myUH Self Service icon
  3. On the Homepage, click on the Advising tile
  4. Select UHin4 Graduation Plan from the Advising menu. 
  5. From the UHin4 page, click the View Plan button to read through the Freshman Four-Year Agreement. 
  6. Click Yes and Submit to complete this step. 

This is also your opportunity to opt into the Fixed Tuition rate, if you choose. To select the fixed rate, click on the Fixed Rate Tuition button. Scroll to review the information, make your selection (yes, no, or undecided) and then click Submit. 

 If you choose to decline or remain undecided, you will have another opportunity to make a selection prior to the submission deadline. Based on your selection, you will receive a confirmation message.
