Peer Assistant Leaders
Peer Assistant Leaders (PALs) are current undergraduate student leaders, trained by professional Completion Specialists in the Office of Graduation and Retention Initiativesto be peer coaches. As current students, PALs have successfully navigated their own pathways at UH and are ready to help up create yours.
What is Peer Coaching?
Sometimes you don't know what questions to ask, and other times you know the question but don't know who to ask. Through Peer Coaching, PALs provide one-on-one, individualized support during your time at UH.
Peer Coaching helps you understand how to navigate the complex pieces of being a student. PALs can help you grow your UH network and confidence as you discover your purpose at UH.
Sometimes knowing who to contact is what makes the difference. Your PALs will directly connect you to UH services and resources as needed.
We want you to be successful. Peer Coaching enables you to identify meaningful goals, strategies to achieve them, and provides accountability along the way.
