Note that most courses are one-week courses - approximately 40 hours. The course labelled with a single asterisk (*) will be a 4-day course over 40 hours. Courses with a double asterisk (**) will include a computer lab component. Several courses are less than a week, and the price reflects that. The daily schedule is 8 a.m. to approximately 12 noon, followed by a lunch break, and then continues with afternoon sessions from approximately 12:45 to 4:45 p.m. each day.

Short Course Venues

On Campus - 2019 UH-SEG Summer Geophysics Short Course Series

Lectures will be given on the University of Houston Campus in McElhinney Hall. Room numbers are listed above and on the registration page. Courses requiring computer applications will be held in our computer lab in Science and Research Building 1, room 230. Your instructor will inform you of the days and times you need to report to the computer lab.

Off Campus

If your company would like to present any of these courses in their own training facility or at a nearby location, we could arrange this but would require a minimum of 15 enrollments for such classes.
