The mission of the computer science director of undergraduate studies is to engage students in the research process and facilitate the discovery of new knowledge through collaboration.
The Scholar Excellence in Research program mission is to:
- Provide peer support for undergraduates seeking a research career
- Organize and promote the bi-annual showcase of undergraduate scholars.
- Hold colloquia for undergraduates currently involved in research and inquiry
- Educate undergraduates about available research-related academic resources
