Homecoming king and queen

HOMECOMING COURT & ROYALTY

A highlight of the Homecoming football game, the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King has long been a cherished tradition at the University of Houston. From Mary Ray Curry receiving the first crown in 1946 to Lynn Eusan’s historic recognition as the first African-American Homecoming Queen in 1968, this moment has continued to reflect the values and evolution of our campus community.

Today, the Homecoming Court honors ten outstanding students who embody the spirit of UH through their leadership, character, communication, and creativity. These individuals are more than just campus leaders—they're role models. The two students elected as the 2024 Homecoming Royalty will proudly represent the pride, excellence, and diversity that define the University of Houston.
