Lawrence “Larry” Bruno is currently Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Core Laboratories.

Mr. Bruno started his professional career as a geologist at Reservoirs Inc. in 1985, focusing on subsurface reservoir characterization. After a variety of operational roles, he was promoted to Vice President of Geology in 1998. Reservoirs Inc. was acquired by Core Lab in 1999. Since joining Core Laboratories, Mr. Bruno has held various operating positions including President of the company’s global lab network. In 2018, Mr. Bruno assumed the duties of President of Core Laboratories, and, in 2019, he added the role of Chief Operating Officer. In May 2020, Mr. Bruno became the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the company. 

With more than 40 years of domestic and international experience, Mr. Bruno applies his broad knowledge of global energy markets while leading over 3700 Core Lab employees that operate in more than 50 countries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Queens College and a master’s degree in geology from the University of Houston. He and his wife of 40 years have two daughters.
