Who We Are

Located on the 1st floor of the Student Center North Building, the Center for Student Involvement provides services for Registered Student Organizations, connects students with opportunities to be involved on campus, and supports many University Sponsored Organizations at the University of Houston.

There are more than 400 student organizations at the University of Houston. Organization categories include campus traditions, student interests, and hobbies, social fraternities and sororities, honors organizations, and major academic focused organizations. If you cannot find an organization that fits your needs, start one!

Additionally, CSI provides resources such as event registration, organization registration, organization mailboxes, and limited carrel space. Our University Sponsored Organizations are also housed on the 1st floor of the Student Center North Building. These organizations receive their funding through student activities fee dollars, and they program for all UH students.

Mission

The Center for Student Involvement creates an inclusive and accessible environment that provides meaningful and diverse learning and involvement opportunities to impact student success. Students will gain a sense of self and strong leadership skills, while becoming responsible and engaged citizens in their community.

Vision

We will create a culture of involvement by engaging all students in meaningful experiences.
