TRAC's evidence-based prevention program will benefit greatly from the generous support of private funding. Funding will allow our scientific team to pursue innovative research and teaching initiatives, and will further enhance our community outreach and strengthen our linkage with other addiction scientists that could not otherwise be accomplished. Currently the various research projects are supported by federal funding; federal grants are restrictive and time-limited. We appreciate local, regional and national foundation support to make addictive behaviors a preventable disease.
