Kimberly is a seasoned communications professional with extensive corporate, academic, non-profit, agency and consulting experience. She is also a highly rated adjunct professor and lecturer in communications at the University of Houston and the University of St. Thomas (Houston).

Kimberly has cultivated trusted relationships with companies and organizations, including Baylor College of Medicine, Greater Houston Partnership, Marathon Oil, Rice University, The Awty International School and the non-profit organization, Books Between Kids.

For nearly 10 years, Kimberly was with Shell, recruited as the speechwriter for the president. As her position expanded, she also provided speechwriting and presentation coaching for other c-suite executives and collaborated with global colleagues to position Shell as a world leader in the energy industry. Prior to Shell, she was Director of Development Communications at Rice University during what was then the largest comprehensive fundraising campaign in the university’s history.

Kimberly earned her M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She holds the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation from the Public Relations Society of America and is a graduate of Leadership Houston.
