Alayna Townsend, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Dr. Alayna E. Townsend is a clinical educator and adjunct lecturer. She specializes in the assessment and intervention of infants and young children with suspected or diagnosed autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She has experience in providing school based speech and language intervention to children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Dr. Townsend earned her master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati and her doctoral degree at Howard University. She completed her postdoctoral clinical fellowship in early diagnosis of ASD at the UT Physicians Center for Autism and Related Conditions.
