Jen Clement, LPC

Psychological Counselor

Jen Clement is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and her pronouns are she/her/hers. She has been a helper in mental health recovery and wellness for 14 years, with experience across the care continuum, including IOP, PHP, detox, in-patient, residential, and community integration levels of care. She specializes in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques, which encompass a trauma-informed approach as well as a person-centered, person-first approach. She has also been trained and certified in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT) and is passionate about supporting clients struggling with over-controlled tendencies. Jen joins U of H after eight years of employment at The Menninger Clinic, where she supported clients ages 18–35 reintegrating back into their lives after struggles with mental wellness, including traumatic events, substance/alcohol use, mood cycling struggles, and elevated anxiety barriers. She has extensive experience working with family dynamics as well as family education around mental health.
