Orientation

We look forward to welcoming you to the Honors College this summer at orientation. Orientation not only provides you with useful information about the University of Houston and acquaints you with University and Honors College personnel, but also is where you will be advised and register for classes (including Honors courses) at the University of Houston.
Transfer students can join the Honors College with just a semester's worth of college coursework or as many as 90 credit hours. If you are a transfer student who will attend the University of Houston for the first time in fall 2013, you should plan to attend an ART conference and receive advising from both your major advisor and your Honors College advisor. Students who are already attending the University of Houston should contact the Student Services office (713.743.9010) to set an advising appointment with an Honors advisor soon after they receive their acceptance letter.
