Students that wish to declare a major in Psychology may fill out a general petition in room 124 Heyne Building. No appointment is necessary for declaring a Psychology major.

If you are a current UH student and would like more information about the Psychology major and the degree objectives offered please email a psychology advisor or make an appointment through your myUH account. The advisor will answer your questions and concerns and will review the requirements for the major. The advisor and you will sketch out a curriculum plan, based on University-wide Core Curriculum choices, College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences guidelines, and Department of Psychology Guidelines. The advisor will alert you to important milestones and deadlines. Most important, the advisor will explain when you may file a Degree Plan for Majoring in Psychology.
