Spring 2013 Commencement
Students participating in the spring 2013 commencement ceremony can find ceremony information located HERE. Commencement will be split into two ceremonies this semester for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS). Psychology graduates will attend the afternoon ceremony from 2:00pm to 4:30pm in Hofheinz Pavilion on May 10, 2013.
IMPORTANT: Advising Holds for Spring 2013
As of February 6, 2013 the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (CLASS) has placed academic advising holds on students' accounts. The psychology advisors are asking that all psychology majors please check their myUH account to see if they have a hold. If you do have an academic advising hold then you need to make sure you meet with your advisor. Please make an appointment through your myUH account for advising. The hold will prevent you from registering for summer and fall 2013 classes.
Graduating seniors for spring 2013 can ignore the senior advising hold. The hold will be removed for graduating seniors after their degree has been awarded.
Registration for Summer/Fall 2013
Registration will open for the summer and fall 2013 semesters on April 5, 2013. Everyone will receive a specific date and time in which they will have access to enroll for summer and fall. You will find this information in your myUH account in late March. DO NOT try to enroll before your scheduled time in April! If you plan to meet with your advisor before registration opens be sure to do so well in advance to the opening registration date. Once registration begins students will find it extremely difficult to make an appointment with an advisor. Do not set yourself up for a stressful semester by waiting until the last minute to meet with your advisor.
