Appointments

Now is the time to schedule your advising appointment if you need to meet with your academic advisor before we enter peak advising season for spring. Appointments are posted one week at a time and are available for scheduling via your myUH account. Appointment slots open at 8am on Fridays. If you make an appointment and are unable to attend please cancel the appointment online so that another student may be able to take your spot or email your advisor and let them know you cannot make your scheduled appointment. This is courtesy not only to your advisor, but to other students needing an appointment.

Spring 2018 LATE Graduation Application Deadline

The regular graduation application filing period has ended. If you are eligible to graduate this semester, but missed the regular deadline, please be aware that you have one more opportunity to apply for graduation. Late applicants have until March 23, 2018 to apply via their myUH account. Please contact an undergraduate advisor to confirm that you will meet all of your degree requirements by the end of the spring 2018 term before you apply. Your major must have been officially declared BEFORE the spring 2018 semester to be eligible to apply for graduation.

New PSYC Undergraduate Academic Advisors

Please welcome Samantha Estrada and Teresa Rosenberger to the Department of Psychology Academic Affairs office. We are excited to have them on board and feel they will bring a wealth of knowledge to their roles as academic advisors.

Email Providers throttling or delaying UH emails

Please be advised that several email providers, but especially Yahoo, have been throttling or delaying UH emails. This means if you have contacted your academic advisor by email using a yahoo account it is possible that their response may be delayed or blocked. Your advisor is not ignoring you. If we are alerted that you are not receiving our email we may ask that you create a gmail account and resend your previous email. Gmail accounts appear to be unaffected.
