Where do I get my Cougar Card?

Where is the Office of Admissions?

The Office of Admissions is in the Welcome Center at 4434 University Drive.

Welcome Center hours:
Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where do I go for academic advising?

Advising is handled by your college, not a central office. The Info Desk can point you to the right building based on your major, or you can check uh.edu for your specific college's advising page.

Where do I report a lost item?

Start at the Info Desk in the Student Centers. They can check for items found in the building or direct you to UHPD for items lost elsewhere on campus.

Where do I go for IT help?

The UIT Technology Commons is located in the basement of M.D. Anderson Library, across from the Student Centers.

Walk-up services are 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Where do student organizations book event space?

The CARS office (Conference and Reservation Services) is in Student Center South, Room 271. Email cars@uh.edu or call (832) 842-6167.

Where is the bookstore / Campus Store?

The UH Campus Store is in Student Center South, B1/130.

Where can I bank or use an ATM on campus?

TDECU credit union is in Student Center South, Room 144 (Mon–Fri, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.) & there is a Bank of America ATM near the Market store.
