About the Program

K-12 students participate in a uniquely designed full day of STEM and a variety of sport experiences.

The program takes place from 9 AM – 2 PM in May, just before summer break. Hosted on the University of Houston campus, students explore the science behind sports while engaging in interactive STEM activities. Participants also connect with ConocoPhillips industry leaders and University of Houston faculty and students, gaining valuable insights into the role of STEM in sports and the wide range of education and career pathways it opens. In addition, students will actively play various sports to gain firsthand experience, linking physical activity with real-world STEM applications. The event not only promotes STEM awareness but also inspires students to envision future opportunities where their academic interests intersect with athletics and innovation.
