Led by the Student Body President and Vice President, The Executive Branch administers daily SGA operations, enforces legislation, and represents the student body to university administration.

Welcome to the Executive Branch of the University of Houston Student Government Association. The Executive Branch serves as the administrative and operational arm of Student Government, responsible for implementing the priorities of the student body through leadership, collaboration, and service. Through the work of the Office of the President, the President’s Cabinet, and executive departments, the Executive Branch coordinates initiatives, develops partnerships, supports student advocacy efforts, and strengthens the internal operations of SGA to better serve the University of Houston community.

Provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and organizational oversight to manage SGA operations and advance student body priorities.
Office of the Chief of Staff
Manages internal administration, coordinates cabinet activities, and oversees executive branch staff to execute organizational goals.
Department of Public Relations
Directs campus communications, manages social media channels, and handles marketing to inform the student body about SGA initiatives.
Department of Outreach
Builds campus partnerships, coordinates community service programs, and boosts student engagement across diverse university organizations.

Department of External Affairs
Manages all things external, including legislative advocacy, spearheads voter registration drives, and represents student interests to civic organizations and local government.
Department of University Standing Committees
Appoints student representatives to shared-governance councils and ensures student voices directly influence campus-wide policy decisions.
