Progression Team
The Progression Team is dedicated to assisting and supporting undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior, and senior years to achieve timely graduation. We utilize actionable, just-in-time data and targeted student outreach to address barriers to student success. The team collaborates closely with academic advisors, student support services, and other student success staff.
Initiatives
The Progression team uses data analytics to identify targeted populations of students experiencing barriers to retention, progression, or graduation. We reach out directly to those students, and work in collaboration with campus partners to help resolve issues related to re-enrollment, registration holds, incomplete grades, graduation eligibility, among others. By understanding the specific challenges that students face, we can tailor our support to meet their individual needs.
Our team identifies barriers to graduation and collaborates with student support partners to review policies and processes to address those barriers. We utilize data from Campus Solutions, EAB Navigate, and other applications to review the progress of 4-, 5-, and 6-year FTICs and determine their status for graduation. Through this data-driven approach, we can identify trends and patterns that inform our interventions and support strategies. We also work with student support services to provide a holistic support system for our students.
Future Initiatives
The Progression Team continues to assess and analyze ongoing efforts to improve student retention and increase the 6-year graduation rate to 70%. Our initiatives are constantly evolving as we look for new opportunities to improve 4- and 6-year graduation rates. By staying proactive and adaptive, we can ensure that our students have the best possible chance of completing their degrees successfully.
