Services
The TCLD Academic Skills Clinic provides a number of services to children and their families. Our goal is to address the academic needs of children struggling in school, children with gifts and talents (with or without academic difficulties), children who speak multiple languages, and children with developmental and genetic disorders. We aim to assist parents and schools in developing appropriate academic settings and interventions for children with special needs.
Comprehensive Evaluations
Comprehensive Evaluations involve reviewing information from previous evaluations, parent interviews, and direct observation and assessment of children. The evaluation report includes an in-depth summary of acquired information, as well as a detailed set of recommendations for interventions and referrals for further evaluations by licensed professionals (e.g., therapists, speech and language pathologists). All findings are reviewed during a feedback session.
