Spot a Problem in a Parking Lot? Report It

By Sijourney Porter

Spot a broken light fixture or concerned with the cleanliness of a campus parking lot? Send a report quickly and easily.

University of Houston Parking and Transportation Services has rolled out a new reporting system for the UH community to quickly send in reports of issues. There are numerous signs placed throughout the Zone E parking lots.

The Lot Spotter reporting system is expected to be in all zones on the main campus and in parking lots at UH at Katy and UH at Sugar Land within the next 1-2 months. There will also be signs at the elevators in all six campus parking garages.

How Does it Work?

If you notice an issue that needs attention, scan the QR code that takes you to a short form to fill out.  Follow these steps:

  1. Select the option that best describes the issue
  2. Provide details of the issue
  3. Select the portion of the zone that closely shows where the issue is located
  4. Submit a photo of the issue (if applicable)
  5. Submit your name and email address (optional)

With this system in place, the UH community will be able to send in issues they notice in each zone in a timely manner and the appropriate UH personnel will be able to attend to it.

Please note: This program is meant for routine items. For emergencies, always call 9-1-1 or the University of Houston Police Department.
