Bicycles/Scooters

Project 529 Coming Fall 2026
A new bicycle and scooter registration platform is coming to the University of Houston this fall. Project 529 helps protect your device by creating a secure digital record, making it easier to report a theft, aid recovery efforts, and connect with a community network focused on returning lost and stolen bikes and scooters to their owners.

Current registration procedures remain in effect until Project 529 launches. Once the system goes live, this page will be updated with registration instructions, decal information, FAQs, and other resources.

Check back soon for launch details and registration information. In the meantime please familiarize yourself with our new MAPP 09.04.02 policy regarding micromobility at UH.
