The University of Houston continues to closely monitor the global outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Many spring courses are being offered online. While this may be a challenge for many students and faculty, we want to help make the shift to online learning as seamless as possible by providing a few key tips and resources.
Remote Learning Tools
Blackboard and Courseware (CASA) can be accessed with a smartphone. Documents can be viewed, videos can be watched, emails can be received and sent, both Zoom and Teams work on smartphones, discussion forum can take place, and assignments can be completed. Even if you are writing on paper, you can use apps like CamScanner to take pictures of the pages and compile them into a pdf file for upload to your instructor.
