Physics Major, Tristan Walker, Accepted to U.S. Particle Accelerator School
Two-Week Program to be held at Duke University

Congratulations to physics major, Tristan Walker, on his acceptance into the U.S. Particle Accelerator School conducted by Fermilab in conjunction with Duke University. The school runs for two weeks and includes forty-five contact hours as well as daily problems and examinations. Participating students earn three semester hours of university credit.

Tristan will receive a $2,000 grant from Fermilab to fund his attendance to the program, which will be held in January 2013. He is currently working with Professor Roy Weinstein.
