Two Physics Students Receive Prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships
Physics major Thomas Markovich and physics minor/math major Cameron Williams are 2012 recipients of National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships.
The prestigious, NSF fellowships recognize outstanding students pursuing research-based graduate degrees in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines. Funded for three years, the fellowships cover tuition and include a $30,000 annual stipend.
Thomas and Cameron are graduating in May. Thomas will attend graduate school at Harvard University while Cameron will enter graduate school at University of Waterloo. Both students work in Professor Don Kouri’s lab.
