Undergraduate Students

University of Houston undergraduate students with a serious interest in biomedical research have the opportunity to join one of the Center's labs, either as interns or in the context of preparing an honors thesis. Visit the undergraduate research page at Department of Biology and Biochemistry for information, and contact the Center faculty member whose research area is of the most interest.

Graduate Students

Students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. at the Center are encouraged to visit the Department of Biology and Biochemistry’s prospective graduate student page for information and to apply for graduate studies. For best results, please indicate an interest in the Center on the graduate student application. Both U.S. and international students are encouraged to apply.
