Student Projects: 20th Century Great Migration
These are original works by U.S. History (1378H) Honors College students in Dr. Irene Guenther’s class. Their projects creatively educate and inform us about the 20th-century Great Migration of six million African Americans from the South to cities and towns throughout the United States. Their projects illuminate the ways in which this migration forced the nation to confront its long history of racial prejudice and forever changed the nation’s cultural, social, and political landscape.
