A Night of Great Conversation at the Museum

The Honors College hosted its 32nd annual Great Conversation fundraiser April 20 in Morian Hall of Paleontology at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Hundreds of donors came together to participate in a long-standing, award-winning tradition that benefits students through scholarships and programs. The Great Conversation supports a fundamental value of the Honors College, which is to foster thoughtfulness and care for the world by engaging in disciplined discussion and critical thinking concerning things that matter.

During the three-course dinner, guests interacted in a facilitated conversation on a topic of their choosing. Event topics represented many areas of life, from arts and literature, history, religion, pop culture, finance, public policy, to aspects of the city of Houston.
