Mariana Rendon Orozco graduated from the University of Houston and the Honors College with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She earned her teaching certification through the teachHOUSTON program in 2020. After graduating, she taught high school science at Stephen F. Austin High School and DeBakey High School for Health Professions. She joined the Honors College in 2025 as an academic advisor.
