Kevon Haughton serves as Program Manager for the Honors Debate Team, where he oversees program operations, student development, and competitive logistics for one of the nation’s leading collegiate debate programs. He brings more than a decade of experience in debate education, nonprofit leadership, and higher-education program management.
Prior to joining the University of Houston, Kevon held roles with the National Speech & Debate Association, the Andrew Goodman Foundation, and the Newark Debate Academy, where he managed large-scale programs, supported students and coaches, coordinated tournaments and events, and built strategic partnerships across K–12 and higher education. As a graduate of Rutgers University, he was recognized as Policy Debater of the Year.
