Any college or graduate student from the below listed Houston area schools may participate in Houston Army ROTC by signing up for classes through their school's registrar:

The University of Houston is the host of Houston Army ROTC. UH is the doctoral degree-granting and largest university of the University of Houston system.

The University of Houston- Downtown is a publicly-supported, urban university located in Houston's central business district. It draws students from throughout the Greater Houston area. UHD is considered one of the most ethnically diverse liberal arts institutions in the southwest.

The University of Houston-Clear Lake is a publicly-supported, urban university located in Houston's central business district. It draws students from throughout the Greater Houston area. UHCL is considered one of the most ethnically diverse liberal arts institutions in the southwest.

Texas Southern University, one of the nation’s largest HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), possesses an impressive array of undergraduate and graduate programs. Texas Southern is located in the heart of the city, in Houston’s historic Third Ward.

Rice University is a leading research university with a distinctive commitment to undergraduate education, and aspires to pathbreaking research, unsurpassed teaching, and contribution to the betterment of our world.

The University of St. Thomas is a Catholic, liberal arts university located in Houston near the museum district. It offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees to over 2700 students.

Houston Christian University is a private Baptist university in Sharpstown, Houston, Texas.  A wide variety of undergraduate majors are offered and pre-professional programs range from Biblical Languages to Engineering. The university is recognized for its nursing program and apologetics program. 

Houston Community College is a publicly-supported urban college. College locations are located in Central Houston, Healthy Science Center, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest.  It draws students from throughout the Greater Houston area.
