Houston History, a magazine published by the Center for Public History at the University of Houston, is the voice of history and culture throughout the Houston area. It aims to provide Houstonians with the opportunity to learn about all aspects of Houston’s history. The articles published will seek to educate and entertain while exploring important aspects of Houston’s history and culture.

Welcome Wilson Houston History Collaborative

In 2014, under the major gift from Welcome W. Wilson, Sr. to the Center for Public History, the Houston History Project was renamed the Welcome Wilson Houston History Collaborative.  The Welcome Wilson Houston History Collaborative consists of Houston History magazine, the UH Oral History of Houston, the UH Houston History Archives, and the UH Memories Project.
