Cassandra Joseph

Cassandra started her journey at the University of Houston in May 2005 working with the Greek community, and has been part of the CFSL team since it was established in 2010. During her time with the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Life, Cassandra has had an opportunity to advise all five councils, Order of Omega, and has created many programs and policies that have helped support and develop the Greek community at the University of Houston. She currently manages department operations and overarching initiatives and advises the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Cassandra received her Master of Science (M.S) from Texas A&M University in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and Speech Communication from Sam Houston State University. She has also been an active member of her sorority since Spring 2000 serving in both local and regional leadership positions. Cassandra is committed to the well-being of the students she works with and gives her all to ensure they have a fulfilling experience during their undergraduate years. In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys hot stone massages, shopping, and of course having fun!


Khristian Royster

Khristian Royster joined the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life in July 2024. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology and a Master of Arts (M.A) in Higher Education. His professional philosophy revolves around making a positive impact and helping others grow. Outside of work, Khristian enjoys karaoke, escapes rooms, bowling, and traveling. These hobbies reflect his love for music, problem-solving, and exploring new cultures. At for CFSL, Khristian focuses on supporting our Houston Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council, Order of Omega, and supervises the graduate assistant, aiming to create a supportive environment where students can thrive and build meaningful connections.  


Melina Barboza

Melina joined the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life in July of 2023. She is dedicated to fostering a vibrant fraternity and sorority community. Melina received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History and Political Science and her Master of Education (M.Ed) in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University. She is passionate about fostering a sense of belonging, personal growth among fraternity and sorority members, and the overall wellness of the students she is able to work with. In her spare time, Melina enjoys trying new baking recipes, spending time with her dog, Nebula, and watching Schitt’s Creek.


Lauren Reed

Lauren Reed joined the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Life in November 2024 as the Administrative Coordinator. In this role, she provides essential administrative support to students and the department, managing tasks such as expenses, contracts, grade reports, organization registration, and assisting with various projects and events that support the fraternity and sorority community.

Outside of work, Lauren is passionate about making new memories with her daughters. She is also a dance fitness instructor who empowers women through movement and fitness.


Jazlyn Young

Jazlyn joined the Center of Fraternity and Sorority Life as the Graduate Assistant in June 2023. As the Graduate Assistant, Jazlyn supports the fraternity and sorority life community and advise individual chapters and council to promote student success through leadership development initiatives. Jazlyn received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work. In her free time, Jazlyn enjoys reading, traveling, and collecting squishmallows. Jazlyn supports and advises Delta Zeta, Gamma Rho Lambda, Phi Sigma Rho, and Sigma Phi Omega.
