Unclaimed Cougar Cards Await Pickup as Semester Winds Down

Cougar CardThis fall semester began with a roar and Cougar Card Services was there to meet the challenge.

Faced with a record-number class, the Cougar Card team worked diligently to provide students and faculty with their Cougar Cards. But as the semester is winding down, there remains a few cards that are waiting at the office to be picked up.

The office has the cards because:

  • The card had been lost and had been turned in.
  • The card had been preprinted in July or August 2024 and an appointment or virtual line request had been submitted at that time, and the appointment had been missed and the card had not been collected.

Cougar Card members are available to bring cards and owners together. In fact, the team has sent out emails to help expedite the distribution to those whose cards are in the office.

Appointments can be made for a specific day or time by logging in to AccessUH, selecting the CougarQ Queuing & Appointment icon, and clicking on the “Make an appointment for a specific date and time” option.

There are also two ways to receive same-day assistance through the virtual line:

  • Text “uhcougarcard” to 713-743-2778 and enter your UHID when prompted.
  • Log in to AccessUH, select the CougarQ Queuing & Appointment icon, and click on the “Get in virtual line for same day assistance” option.

Cougar Card Services wants everyone to enjoy the privileges that the Cougar Cards bring to everyone’s University experience —  especially, during the holidays.

To those whose cards have fallen into one of the above categories: Make your arrangements to get your card today.
