Staff Council

The University of Houston Staff Council is an advisory body to the President of the University and the University administration.  Staff Council consists of elected staff members from each division who represent the entire staff body.

Staff Focus 2018

Please join us at the Staff Focus Event on May 15, 2018. We will hear from:

  • Reuben Parrish, Staff Council President, on Staff Council updates and accomplishments
  • Janet Clemenson, Counseling and Psychological Services, on resources available for staff
  • Richard Bond, University Ombudsperson, on the Ombudsperson's role for staff
  • Breion Rollins, Human Resources, on the Bright Horizons Backup Care program
  • Andy Moon, Staff Council Past President, on Take Your Child to Work Day

Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP for a chance to win a personal training package from the Campus Recreation Center (must be present to win).

28th Annual Spring Egg Hunt

The 28th Annual Spring Egg Hunt, sponsored by Staff Council, Faculty Senate, and SGA, was held on March 24, 2018, at Butler Plaza, and was a resounding success. Thank you to everyone that was involved and a special thanks to the Events Committee Co-Chairs, Shanequea White and Tonya Winters.

Conversations With Staff Presented by Staff Council

The purpose of this gathering is to build awareness for current UH Main Campus initiatives and create an open dialog regarding these activities and other concerns for staff and faculty.
