The University of Houston Staff Council is an advisory body to the President of the University and the University administration.
Staff Council consists of elected staff members from each division who represent the entire staff body.
Staff Council is now accepting applications for staff who are interested in serving as representatives. Please complete all fields of the nomination form and bio and send it to Christian Backstrom via mail (mail code: 2023), email (christian@uh.edu), or fax (713-743-7542) NO LATER THAN 5:00P.M. Cougar Cudos is an on-line accessible way for staff, faculty and students to identify someone they believe has responsibly demonstrated quality service to individuals, departments/divisions and the University as a whole. This new initiative was developed to positively affect staff morale campus-wide. Look for signs posted campus-wide encouraging everyone to take a part in this new initiative.
