2009 Staff Survey, November 18 - December 18, 2009
Every other year, the Staff Council conducts a survey of staff needs, satisfaction and perceptions on topics of importance to staff. The staff survey provides us with valuable information on the following topics of interest to staff: Communication and Information sharing, Performance Communication and Development Plan, Compensation and Benefits, Training, Development, and Professional Growth and selected Miscellaneous items. Staff Council uses this information to determine what sort of topics or projects we should explore, and what we should recommend to the Administration. Therefore, your opinion and input is very important to us.
This survey is completely anonymous. Although your PeopleSoft number is used to log into the survey, it is not attached to the answers, so they cannot be traced. The survey is being conducted through UH Learning Assessment Services, so no one in your department or on Staff Council has access to the information. If you prefer to you can request a paper edition of the survey.
This survey should take ten to fifteen minutes of your time to complete. As an incentive to complete the survey, and in order to support Dr. Khator’s initiative to have everyone wear red on Fridays, we will give away one red polo shirt for every 100 completed surveys.
Complete the survey online, or, if you would prefer a paper copy of the survey, please contact Patrick Daniel at 713-743-5434 or email pdaniel@uh.edu. If you have questions, please contact Rebecca Szwarc at 713-743-6030 or email rszwarc@uh.edu.
The survey will run through Friday, December 18, 2009. We appreciate your time and your candor. Together, we can make this a Tier One University and an employer of choice.
