After undergoing renovations and an expansion, Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston is preparing to reopen its doors.
On Oct. 12, the museum welcomes patrons back with a reception for an exhibition celebrating the career of American sculptor Tony Feher.
The opening night reception kicks off at 6 p.m., and the exhibition runs through March 31. A fully illustrated monograph showcasing Feher’s work will be available for purchase at the museum. The book will include essays from Blaffer director and exhibition curator Claudia Schmuckli and Russell Ferguson, chair of the University of California, Los Angeles’ department of art.
