IDHT supports investigators developing computing platforms, connectivity software and hardware biosensors for clinical use. Research initiatives address complex, real-world health conditions such as chronic disease management, tracking cognitive decline and optimizing daily living for aging populations.

The Institute offers institutional seed grants, funds graduate student researchers and coordinates interdisciplinary teams to help investigators compile preliminary data and secure federal funding.
