Parking

Text-to-Pay Visitor Parking

There are several locations at UH Technology Bridge with orange spaces that are dedicated to text-to-pay visitor parking. UH parking permits cannot be used to park in those orange spaces.

In addition, any of the uncovered parking spaces at UH Technology Bridge can be used for text-to-pay parking by texting TECHB to 25023 and paying with a credit/debit card prior to leaving the vehicle.

Faculty, Staff and Students

Faculty and staff who work at the UH Technology Bridge have options:

  • Zone H Uncovered permit. This permit allows for parking in the uncovered parking lots at UH Technology Bridge as shown in green on the map above. It cannot be used to park in the covered areas. It also allows for parking in Zone E if you need to visit the main campus between 7 a.m.-3 p.m. It cannot be used to park in Zone E on a regular basis. If it is after 3 p.m., or any time Friday-Sunday, then the Zone H Uncovered permit can be used to park in unrestricted spaces in any of the ungated lots in all of the campus parking zones, with the exception of Zone G. Please note: If you park in a pay-by-phone space, you must pay the fee, even if you have a valid permit.
  • Zone H Covered permit. This permit can be used to park at UH Technology Bridge in the covered spaces as noted in the map above. It cannot be used to park in the uncovered areas. It also allows for parking on the main campus in Zone E if it is Monday-Thursday between 7 a.m.-3 p.m. It cannot be used to park in Zone E on a regular basis. If it is after 3 p.m., or any time Friday-Sunday, then the Zone H Covered permit can be used to park in unrestricted spaces in any of the ungated lots in all of the campus parking zones.

Students, faculty and staff who need to come to the UH Technology Bridge for meetings or classes can park in any of the uncovered parking areas with most valid UH parking permits. The UH-Katy permit cannot be used at Tech Bridge. Also, the Evening-Weekend permit cannot be used until after 3 p.m. Monday-Friday.
