Back-to-School Health Fair: Missouri City

This year, the 2023 Back-to-School health fairs will be held on Saturday, August 5 at our Missouri City Clinic, and on Saturday, August 12 at our Richmond Clinic, with both events running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. During the health fairs, we will provide immunizations, health screenings, vision screenings, a limited number of sports physicals, backpacks, and school supplies for attendees. In addition, attendees will have the chance to engage in interactive workshops and educational sessions on nutrition, mental health, and overall well-being.
Family-History Research: Finding Your Ancestors in Deed Records
  • Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • Location: George Memorial Library: 1001 Golfview Drive Richmond, TX 77469
Deeds are legal land and property records between individuals. Deeds were recorded and kept before other types of records were required so they can often provide fairly reliable information on ancestors where other information is not available.

Active Adult Series: Amigurumi Crochet Octopus

Come and learn all about amigurumi, the Japanese art of crocheting stuffed yarn toys. In this class you will learn some basic crochet stitches and how to read a pattern to make a small octopus. Supplies will be provided.

Back-to-School Health Fair | Richmond

There is nothing more beautiful than watching dancers moving in perfect syncopation. And this is what you will witness in India’s famous Odissi dance ensemble, Rudrakshya. Known for their perfection of movement as much as for their vigor, the Rudrakshya dancers will enthrall the audience with their brilliant performance of one of India’s most popular and beautiful dance forms.
