Alumni Relations

Supporting GCSW

Graduates of the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work are an integral part of the college’s contribution to providing excellence in the training of social work professionals. Activities, programs, and networking events sponsored by the GCSW Alumni Association augment the important work of the college by supporting the social work community. Raising funds for student scholarships, mentoring graduating students, and providing important networking opportunities enhance the competence of social work professionals throughout their careers.

The GCSW Alumni Association is a constituent group of the UH Alumni Association.

UH Alumni Association

Since 1940, the Houston Alumni Association has been supporting the University of Houston and its alumni. Scholarships, faculty, and alumni recognition awards, legislative advocacy, and effective community outreach are important ways in which the UH Alumni Association supports the graduates of its colleges and strengthens the value of a University of Houston degree. University of Houston graduates are automatically considered members of the UH and the GCSW Alumni Associations. To maintain an active status, UHAA requests that alumni make a gift anywhere on campus.
